In the summer of 2022, Dennika Mays began their journey as the Indigenous and Local Foods fellow in Cass and Crow Wing counties. This initiative was an effort to partner the local foods system with an individual with connection to native foods and preparation processes.  What transpired was a meaningful and connecting experience for all involved.
